Ken Fleischhacker

Ken was born April 30, 1936 in Chicago, IL. He was active in multiple sports while living in one of Chicago’s many ethnic enclaves. He enrolled at Wilbur Wright College, later transferring to Loyola University of Chicago where he majored in exercise physiology. His early career commenced at Western Electric, followed by a stint of military service with the U.S. Army in Germany. Ken took up badminton while there, winning several military championships in both singles and doubles. Returning to Western Electric after discharge, he eventually relocated to Denver, CO where he got to indulge his love of skiing. Before retiring early, he led company wellness programs. Ken is convinced that successful aging is not a solo journey.
